Privacy Policy
Information Collected
This app collects personal information you share with it through OAuth. Furthermore, it collects and stores all messages you send to it and any content you generate, including any and all content that you may have given your personal information to.
As this app relies on OpenAI's generative LLM models, all data you send through either the chat or forms functionalities will also be propagated to OpenAI through the OpenAI API. Therefore, you also hereby consent to OpenAI's privacy policy for any information they collect via their API.
Purpose of collection
All data collected serves the sole purpose of generating novel content for the user experience
Data Store and Security
Data is stored on AWS cloud servers. Transmissions of chat history and form fields will be sent to OpenAI's API for the purpose of generating novel content.
All chat history is saved to a database on the server, as is all generated novel content.
User Rights
User's have the right to request their information be destroyed and wiped clean. If a user requests their data be wiped, it will be wiped in it's entirety, and the account will be deleted.
At this point the data will become irretrievable. The User will have no claim to the data, and will have no recourse to retrieve it. Furthermore, as this mechanism only functions through direct communication via email to mentor@storyforgeai.com,
User waves their right to reimbursement for any fees they have paid, up until and including destruction date. Upon date of destruction, further billing will be canceled, effective immediately.
In the event User requests account destruction, User further waves their right to refund of remaining active service, if paid for. User's account will be absolutely destroyed, with no means of recourse in any matter.
If the user still has days remaining they would like to use, they are adviced not to destroy their account. If they would like to delete specific content, they may do so within the app itself, using the app's built in functionality.
Policy updates
If this changes, users will receive an email with a link to the new policy.
